NEWS: Tara Reid will star in the video for Jedward's next single Wow oh Wow

 

Guest star: Jedward revealed in their new OK! magazine column that they were teaming up with Tara Reid on their next video. The Irish twosome broke the news in their first column for OK! Magazine - in which they share their offbeat view of the world.

'Oh my God, we're shooting our video for our next single Wow oh Wow in Los Angeles,' the pair said in the column, 'and guess who's going to be in it - Tara Reid!
'We've been talking to her about it in private and she's got really exciting news no-one else knows about but us,' Jedward added. 'You'll all find out soon enough!'


As you know, Jedward and Tara recently appeared together in Celebrity Big Brother, when the show moved from Channel 4 to Channel 5 in August. Tara was eventually evicted the week before the final, while Jedward went on to finish in third place.

 

Jedward fan: Tara Reid said that the boys would be welcome to visit her in Los Angeles.

She later said of the pair: 'There's nobody like them in the States and I would 100% be glad to invite them over and have them as my guests.


'They're great and so inspiring. Give them a T-shirt and a pair of scissors and you can't imagine what they can do. They can make anything out of anything.'

The twins also aired their thoughts on X Factor USA, giving their seal of approval to Nicole Scherzinger - despite the fact reviews of the show have favoured Cheryl Cole as a judge.
'Cheryl Cole got better reviews than Nicole Scherzinger, but we say give her a chance!' Jedward said. 'Nicole's great and she's not holding her breath for anyone!'

NEWS: Jedward receive ESC Radio Award

They were one of the most spectacular acts at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, held in Düsseldorf from 10-14 May. With their infectious entry Lipstick, Jedward finished a very respectable 8^th place in the competition and gave Ireland its best result since 2000, when Eamonn Toal came in sixth place with Millennium Of Love. In the voting for the 2011 ESC Radio Awards the Irish twins fared much better: The listeners voted them Best Group, and in the Best Song category, Lipstick finished in second place, behind Eric Saade’s Popular (Sweden).

Ireland’s 2011 Eurovision entry, written by Daniel Priddy, Lars Halvor Jensen and Martin Michael Larsson, became the most commercially successful entry from the competition, an Irish number #1 hit with a chart run of almost 30 weeks, and chart listings in Austria (#3), Sweden (#11), Germany (#12, iTunes #1), Finland (#22), Switzerland (#28), UK (#40).

We met John and Edward this past weekend before their Berlin concert to hand over the trophies and chat with the guys about their ESC adventure, their new cd album Victory, touring and future plans.

Jedward presently promote their second CD album Victory (Universal), which was released early in August. Most of the 12 tracks were written or co-written by Lars Halvor Jensen, Martin Michael Larsson and Daniel Priddy. The album contains their Eurovision entry Lipstick, the follow-up single Bad Behaviour (which gave John and Edward their third Irish #1 hit), and the next single release Wow Oh Wow. After spotting Pippa Middleton wearing some very short shorts on the front row at London Fashion Week, the boys tell us: "People were calling it a fashion faux pas, but she’s really sexy - she can wear granny pants if she wants to."
